Sometimes you just walk into a restaurant and you know it’s going to be good. This is one of those restaurants - a testament to the owner and staff who operate Daddy Joes.
The bar tender (Chevy) is amazingly talented and makes some of the best cocktails on the island, REALLY - we have tasted many good ones but she does an outstanding job - try her Gully Wash or Pina Colada to name a couple! The food - well this is not a Michelin Restaurant (and it’s not want we wanted today or expected), but it deserves 5 stars for creativity, execution, flavors and did I mention generous portions! The place is very clean, organized and although the decor is a little eclectic, very professional - thank you Tiffany for adding to our travel experience to Eleuthera, you and your staff should be commended. Apparently this place is also a hotel, and I would imagine if it’s like the restaurant, it is run well. We came here by pure chance, a great find one this beautiful island.

Food is ok. Waitress duped us into tipping twice. The bill was $110. By the time we left we ended up paying $160 when the waitress added the included VAT (10%) and included gratuity (15%) then asked us for an additional 15% tip on top of all of that.

In the Bahamas, gratuity of 15% is already included in the bill. Don’t tip twice. I hardly ever leave negative reviews but these tactics prey upon unsuspecting tourists, especially tourists that are accustomed to tipping culture.

If you want ok food at a high price and to be swindled 45% of your tab in addition, come here, otherwise, literally go anywhere else.

Taco Tuesday was a hit! We got several and all were yummy. The guava duff was spectacular but share! It’s a large portion and super sweet! Atmosphere is perfect! Annoyed I didn’t take more pictures for myself!

Tiffany went out of her way to accommodate us with our hotel stay. Communication was super and we look forward to returning.

We stopped on our way back from Gregory Town to pick up some takeout and had a drink while we waited. The atmosphere was nice, the food and drinks were delicious, and Tamira gave us fantastic service! We plan on going back before we leave, I highly recommend.

Had an amazing dinner here last night. Everything was A+ service, food, and atmosphere. My wife forgot her bag after dinner and we came back this morning. They had it safely stored away upstairs and everyone was helping us to find it. HIGHLY recommend the fish tacos they were amazing. We will definitely be back! My only regret is not coming here sooner so we could have eaten here more

Our first stop coming from the North Eleuthera Airport (ELH) and it was great to be welcomed by friendly staff and great food. Just what we hoped for when hopping off the plane. Conveniently right off queens highway and seems popular with locals and tourists alike. Highly recommended

Went there on a Thursday night when the high rock band played. Loved the atmosphere. Loved the food and drinks. Timing of food could have been better. Appetizer came about 5-10 mins before main course only negative. But overall we enjoyed our experience at Daddy Joes, will definitely recommend and return

Home away from home. This is how a place is supposed to be rented. Kitchen with pots n pans, microwave, stove, fridge, quite place with room service. Pool table, drinks, food, this place is a awesome setup.

Daddy Joes is top notch! They care and take great care of you!

If you come to Eleuthera and you don’t eat
Here, you haven’t been to Eleuthera. Great, strong, drinks. The food is so incredible. The loaded french fries are a must. The shrimp is incredible. Did I mention the drinks are good—and strong? The service is also wonderful. And the people are wonderful. It is a local joint, and you may be the only tourists in there. But go. Not only is it great, it is located next to a wonderful beach on Eleuthera called Gaulding Cay. Make a day of it and finish up here. We were way past lunch time and they opened the kitchen for us. Who can complain about that? Cost is very reasonable. Very.

The loaded fries with grilled shrimp was AWESOME. Drinks were good as well!

Amazing atmosphere! Liked the live music and the outside seating. Tacos on Taco Tuesday a bit expensive with 10$ for one.

Super cute boutique-ish restaurant. Best piña colada On The Island! The Cajun fried fish burger and fries was very good. Quick, friendly service.

What an awesome place! Super mellow relaxed family atmosphere, great food, great drinks top notch service and the most beautiful beach just across the street. You will be on island time so kick back and take it all in

The friendliest and most welcoming staff. We had the wings, jerk chicken and guava bbq flavor, fantastic! Also had the shrimp appetizer and it was full of flavor. Can't wait to go back and enjoy this gem in Eleuthera.

Lunch was delicious. I had a Gregory Town mojito, wings flavored in jerk pineapple and the fish tacos. My husband had the fish sandwich made with mahi mahi. Waitress was attentive without being pushy. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend you stop in!
