We went for lunch after spending the whole day traveling to Nassau. The staff was friendly and attentive, but we were a bit disappointed with the food.

The orange beef was okay, but didn’t taste quite how I’d expect, and the pork dumplings were not that great. If I lived in Nassau, I probably wouldn’t return for the food. We were so hungry after our flights that we didn’t want to spend extra time to order something else.

The restaurant itself was clean and the decor fit the Chinese/Continental theme perfectly.

Was able to spend a month on the island so we actually ate at this restaurant twice during our vacation.
The first time my wife and I ate there, the food was great, especially the lobster bisque.
The second time however, I ordered the same plate as before (lobster tail) and had it cooked the same way. I asked the waitress when I ordered for a small bowl of garlic butter for my wife's grouper and my broiled lobster tail.
When she came out with our food, she explained they didn't have garlic butter, so I asked for some just plain butter for our fish, potatoes and which seemed to be canned green beans.
She came back again and stated they didn't have any butter at all for our food.
We ate our food and my wife had ordered red wine (chilled for some reason) and I had a cocktail at 12 and 15 dollars a glass respectively, but knowing the prices on the island we knew that going in.
The ending to this, is that when we received the check, I happened to notice that they charged us 2 dollars for each 6 oz glass of warm water with no ice.
We were told that it was because it was bottled water, but never saw the bottle.
If you're spending 150 dollars for 2 people for dinner and drinks, water should have been included.
Needless to say we won't be back in this restaurant on our last week on the island.

We've already booked for another 4 weeks next year, so we will move on down the island.

I will say, everyone on this island has been extremely accommodating and friendly. Their waitstaff was the very same.
I'm normally a very generous tipper, and it's a shame the waitstaff suffers from the owners greed.

I have to say this; the level of professionalism those guys are is unmatched. The communication was seamless; it is almost like someone is always on the line waiting for the customer to call or share any concern. They accommodated me very fast, and they sent me the picture of the van and the plate number beforehand. If you looking for safe, reliable transport in the bahamas? This is your guy!

I HIGHLY recommend it. They do it all: boat ride, lizard feeding, stingray feeding, shark feeding and pig feeding. The Rum Punch (OPEN BAR!) and lunch on the island are fantastic. The staff is amazing, Gary kept us laughing. Best experience ever, well worth every penny! 10/10, would recommend to a friend.

The service was almost non existent, I had to go up to the bar two different times to get someone's attention.
I ordered a hamburger but the meat was crumbly and the bun was plain, it should have been toasted. There are some seats inside but most people sit outside at the bar.

A must - ripping current depending on when you go though. Definitely don't be too cool for the guide ropes; even an experienced diver can get rolled in the washing machine current and lose their way.

Sometimes you just walk into a restaurant and you know it’s going to be good. This is one of those restaurants - a testament to the owner and staff who operate Daddy Joes.
The bar tender (Chevy) is amazingly talented and makes some of the best cocktails on the island, REALLY - we have tasted many good ones but she does an outstanding job - try her Gully Wash or Pina Colada to name a couple! The food - well this is not a Michelin Restaurant (and it’s not want we wanted today or expected), but it deserves 5 stars for creativity, execution, flavors and did I mention generous portions! The place is very clean, organized and although the decor is a little eclectic, very professional - thank you Tiffany for adding to our travel experience to Eleuthera, you and your staff should be commended. Apparently this place is also a hotel, and I would imagine if it’s like the restaurant, it is run well. We came here by pure chance, a great find one this beautiful island.

This was the best holiday we have ever had. The location of the island in the amazing azure waters in The Bahamas, the quality of the accommodation, the way the staff from Fowl Cay looked after us, was quite exceptional. In addition, we had our own boat to take us to secluded cays with a picnic and a coolbox. This resort is highly recommended.

First night here. Had an 8pm reservation at the restaurant. Got seated pretty much on time. However, after 20 minutes nobody came to our table. Parties that we observed seated after us had their bread, drinks, and orders in. while we had not seen a soul at our table. We finally got up and left.

Unfortunately, that means we're going without dinner tonight, since there is NOTHING else in this remote area.

Not a good first impression on our first night. Perhaps I'll come back and edit this review after our 2nd or 3rd night.

I photographed a wedding here and absolutely fell in love! My couple was absolutely thrilled with every aspect of how their wedding turned out. It was the perfect blend of elegant, relaxed, and fun. If you are a couple getting married and are looking for a venue, I would highly recommend The Ocean View Club!
